Summer begins with a warm breeze,
Gently swaying the new emerald leaves.
The golden sun peaks over the distant skyline,
Softly illuminating the beach’s glittering shoreline. By noon cars are filled with
surfboards and towels, Excited children run into the sapphire waters for the perfect
surfing hours. Sweaty sunscreen scents filled the air,
Where the ice cream vans parked at the local fair.
As the hot day finishes,
The ocean sleeps with the fishes.
Night is welcomed by a warm summer breeze.
